Bridger’s Botanics is a small-batch herbal practice based in Carolina Beach, NC. Bridger started her journey as an herbalist when she entered the threshold of motherhood 15 years ago. Her son was dealing with persistent ear infections, which caused her to seek a natural solution that addressed the root cause rather than relying on the constant use of over-the-counter antibiotics. This led her down a path of herbalism where she realized people in her community could benefit from natural ways of healing. Bridger created Bridger’s Botanicas to both support healing and share this knowledge with her community. Bridger draws inspiration from traditional ways of healing passed down through generations.

When approaching the rebrand, I wanted to create something more unified while still preserving the creativity that defines Bridger’s aesthetic. Her previous labels were vibrant and distinctive, giving each product its own unique identity. I wanted to keep this bright aesthetic in place. When it came to logo design, I wanted to communicate the brand’s personality and values. To do this, I choose vintage typography and the symbolic logo images of a Calendula flower. This flower is important to Bridger as it is the main ingredient in her bestselling facial cream that allowed her business to take off.
