Roots of Impact: ECO Topsail’s Website, Handcrafted in Code

Inspired by notable examples like A Growing Culture and Earthjustice, the design is tailored to meet the specific needs of the organization. Departing from traditional content management systems, the website is meticulously coded to provide control over design elements, ensuring a cohesive alignment with ECO Topsail’s mission. The conceptualization phase integrates insights from client meetings, focusing on functionality and purpose. The project evolves dynamically, transitioning from a conceptual coastal design to a multi-page structure, reflecting a commitment to user experience and the organization’s unique goals.

Embarking on the journey of creating a website for ECO Topsail as my Capstone project has been a transformative experience, pushing me beyond the confines of conventional content management systems. The decision to code the entire website from the ground up not only granted me full control and flexibility over its design but also offered a glimpse into the real-world challenges of web design. Collaborating with ECO Topsail served as a practical experience, allowing me to engage with clients, understand their unique needs, and navigate discussions towards innovative solutions. This project, distinct from my academic experience, has been a platform for consolidating my knowledge and skills into a cohesive and impactful website.
